Happy Saturday! Hope you are all enjoying your weekend! I had a fun time going into town with my family/friends and seeing Santa come for our annual tree lighting!
Back home and just finished my next segment- Day 11
FIFO stands for “figure it the f@&$ Out”
We need to figure out what we want to do in life and where we want to be. No one can do this for us!!
Here’s a fun challenge, just to see if we really are where we should be….
✨ Go back to school for 60 Days, what would you study??
✨ Or if not the classroom, what field would you be interested in??
It’s amazing seeing what would be different after what you know now about ourselves!!
I have to say- tonight with my family watching the tree lighting in town was exactly where I should be!! ❤️
Hope everyone who celebrated had a beautiful Thanksgiving yesterday!! Now- time to prepare for Christmas!!! Today is when my family puts up our Christmas tree and gets our home looking the holiday spirit! 🎅🏼🎄☃️
I’m not one to run out to the stores and trudge through huge crowds to get the best deal!! I will do some shopping on line this evening and then hit my laptop Monday to finish off the rest of my gift shopping!
Now some time to finally relax….
Enjoy your weekend!
Today was a day of preparation for tomorrow’s amazing feast! I am hosting family for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. So, growing up in an all Italian family- that means, lots of food and all made by “scratch” (homemade)!!
So- today mom came to my house and walked me through each dish that I will be serving tomorrow!
What am I thankful for?? MY MOM
Without her- there would be no tradition to carry on and I wouldn’t have a clue how to cook all this delicious food!
Have a restful night!
Hope everyone had a fantastic day! One more day until Holiday Time! Lots of good food, family, & friends having a peaceful day showing “Thanks”.
My one advice to you comes from this new segment I read tonight…. Be Authentic
“Being authentic is knowing who you are and confidently expressing this truth to others. It means that your thoughts, actions, words, and deeds are aligned with your underlying character. Becoming authentic- being true to yourself- is one of the most powerful things you can do for your mind, body, and spirit. I believe that at any point in time, you can do anything you want to do or become anything you want to be.” Christmas Abbott
Be true to yourself! 🙌🏼
Happy Monday all!!
I hope you set the tone for this week and are off to a good start!! 😊
Just finished reading my next segment and what I read is so fitting for Monday!!
Day 8: Fuel Yourself For Success
This segment is about “fueling” yourself mentally, physically, & spiritually.
Fuel your mind with positivity! “You can’t think out of the box if you’re sitting in the box.”
Fuel your body with nutritious and clean foods! “Choose your foods wisely, because having a nutritious diet is the foundation of great health and mental fitness.”
Fuel your spirit. Explore a form a spirituality that speaks to you- a religion, a practice like yoga, spiritual readings.. Another great way is by helping others!! “Performing acts of kindness makes you feel good, increases your happiness, improves your immune system, and forges connectedness to higher things”
✨Be mindful of your thoughts & actions
Today was a day of catching up- whether it be laundry, house work, business building… I was on track all day and kept moving until I was done!! 💪🏼
I leave you with my Day 7 reading.. Hope this motivates you to set the tone for the coming week…..
“What separates those who fail from those who achieve greatness is the reluctance to accept that event as failure. I believe that if you continue to do what you know you can, eventually, on a long enough timeline, you will achieve what you once thought was impossible. Most people fail because they give up on their goals. Giving up in my life is simply not an option, ever. Your mental state controls the rest of your being. It’s your hard drive for life.” Christmas Abbott
Have an awesome week!
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!!
Today I had a pretty balanced day.. I did some house work this morning, then went to visit mom with the kids, ran over to a kids birthday party and then finally ended my evening out to dinner with my husband and kids!
I just finished reading my next segment which was about setting a schedule for our days in order to succeed! You do not have to schedule minute by minute, but a quick list of things you would like to get done should be handy to you in order to have some form of organization.. And hey, if you don’t get to all of it- move it over to the next day..
“Schedules and priority task lists really work! Because I wake up knowing how I will spend my day, I can hit the ground running. I’ve prepared myself to succeed- that day. Whatever the day holds, I try to give my best and be as effective in the moment as I can.” Christmas Abbott
So, think about some things over the rest of your weekend and maybe try to get a rough draft of a list going.. See how it works for you! And make sure you do not leave out fun time for yourself!! 😉
Enjoy the rest of your evening!
We’ve made it to the weekend!! 😃
I’d say my week was hectic but I feel content that I got a lot done and I’m ready to enjoy some time with my family this weekend!
I will share what I have read this evening which I think is so fitting for tonight!!
Day 5: Visualize!
This segment was about visualization and how we can practice this day to day to achieve a specific goal we are working towards.. This goal can be anything from reaching a promotion at work, building our business to the next level, a fitness goal, relationship goals, and so much more!! “Visualization is very powerful. You can use it to break bad habits, form new ones, and get results you want.”
So tonight I visualize myself having a fun weekend with the people I love most!
Have a great weekend!
What are we thankful for today?? I am thankful that I made it to my gym class this morning! My little one was sick so my husband stayed home with him this morning and I was able to make it to class! 🙏🏼 It’s the little things in life I appreciate!!
Here’s a great quote from the current book I’m reading… Day 4- “You know how you feel after a really great workout- strong and renewed and bursting with energy? Well, in addition to keeping your body strong and flexible, exercise does wonders for your mind and spirit. It boosts self-esteem, gives you the satisfaction of striving for and attaining your goals, and helps keeps the blues at bay.” Exercise is great for the spirit, too. Sure, the changes in your physique are exciting, but you’ll begin to notice that not only do you feel better physically but you feel better spiritually as well. You’ll have more spiritual energy- the feeling that what you do in life matters.”
Yup!!! I’d say that’s pretty accurate!! 👍🏼
